The party is over for "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. TMZ reports he and his brother, Marc have been indicted for tax fraud and turned themselves in to New Jersey authorities (Sept. 24).

The U.S. Attorney in New Jersey claims the star failed to pay the proper taxes on $8.9 million in earnings and claims he filed intentionally fraudulent returns.

Marc Sorrentino was charged with conspiracy to commit tax fraud for his role in the case.

Sorrentino has been reportedly released on $250,000 bond and will be subjected to random drug testing and banned from drinking any alcohol pending trial.

TMZ reports a lawyer representing the "Jersey Shore" star said the sobriety condition was placed due to Sorrentino's 2012 rehab visit for pain pill addiction.

Sorrentino also must surrender his passport and is not permitted to leave New Jersey or New York without proper authorization.
