'Zoey 101' Actress Believes Spears Will Be a Good Mom






It's been almost two months since tween star Jamie Lynn Spears announced that she is pregnant, and although Zoey 101 costar Erin Sanders hasn't been in contact with her lately, she is confident Spears has what it takes to become a great mother.

"I haven't spoken to her recently but we are all good friends on the show, so we are supporting her in whatever happens," Sanders, who plays Quinn Pensky on the Zoey 101, told People magazine last week at the L.A. premiere for The Spiderwick Chronicles. "She is just a very good-hearted and warm person. We would always hang out on the set and she is a lot of fun, so I think she's going to be an easygoing, fun mom. She has a lot of energy which you probably need as a mom."

This is more than can be said for Spears' older and hugely popular sister, Britney Spears, who has long been criticized by the public for her apparent lack of parenting skills and is now still in the middle of an ugly custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline, with whom she has two children.

Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy has not discouraged viewers from tuning into Zoey 101, which is currently on its fourth and final season on Nickelodeon. It has, however, given the media an opportunity to further explore the young actress' reportedly strained relationship with mother Lynne.

Recent reports claim that Jamie Lynn Spears is planning to leave her mother's estate in Kentwood, Louisiana, with both the National Enquirer and Chicago Sun-Times reporting that the young star is relocating to her father's home in Los Angeles.

“She wants to be settled in before the baby is born in March or early April — and she wants to be closer to film projects she'd like to start after giving birth,” a source told the Enquirer, adding that Spears wants to marry her baby's father, Casey Aldridge, who has yet to get into Lynne's good graces.

“Jamie Lynn knows that once she's out from under her mom's thumb in Kentwood, she and Casey will be together,” the source added.
