Default 'Real Housewives of New Jersey': Teresa Giudice's home furnishings on the auction blo

USED WITH PERMISSION OF A.J. WILLNER AUCTIONSA ginormous mirror from Teresa Giudice's bedroom (and featured on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" will be auctioned off next month, along with most of her other furnishings as part of her bankruptcy proceedings.
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's baroque home furnishings -- gilt-soaked occasional tables, massive mirrors, a suit of armor, a wood-encased foosball table -- will be auctioned off next month at her Towaco mansion as part of her bankruptcy proceedings. Let's hope for her (and her bank's) sake that other people don't find used furnishings as "skeevy" as she does.
A.J. Willner Auctions is handling the Aug. 22 sale, which features items seen in Guidice's rather sparsely-furnished home (now we know why) on this season's "Real Housewives," including wood-trimmed sofas with leather and fabric upholstery (I believe these are the same sofas we watched her pay cash for in the first season), an ornate Greek Revival table in her entry, and a gilt-framed mirror the size of an SUV in her bedroom, plus a grand piano, a high-end foosball table, a pool table, a snow plow, a jet boat, and a 48-inch stainless steel Wolf range direct from the cookbook author's kitchen.
The auction house does have a plan to keep the riffraff out: Those interested have to present a $300 refundable deposit at the time of registration. "I don't want it to be a zoo," says managing partner Harry Byrnes. "I want it to be very orderly and professional." The opposite of a typical "Real Housewives" episode, then.
The list of items may change somewhat before the auction, as Giudice and husband Joe petitions for exclusions or other creditors step forward.
There will be no minimum, Byrnes says. He can't estimate how much the sale is expected to rake in, but, he says, "we're going to generate a lot of money for the creditors."
